Our Story

A playful name. A serious job.

Bogey Brothers exists because golf carts became real vehicles — worth real money, driven in real traffic — while the insurance world kept treating them like lawn equipment.

Where it started

[PLACEHOLDER — founding story: who founded the agency, when, and where. To be written from the client's own account — names, year, place, and the moment that started it. Nothing here will be invented.]

[PLACEHOLDER — the founders' background in insurance and/or golf: licenses held, years in the industry, prior agencies or carriers. Pending client confirmation.]

The problem we kept seeing

Somewhere along the way, the golf cart stopped being a golf cart. It became the second car, the neighborhood shuttle, the sunset cruiser — a five-figure machine with lithium batteries, lifted suspensions, and a place in daily life that no homeowners policy ever anticipated.

But the coverage never caught up. Cart owners assume they're protected because the cart is parked at home. Then it leaves the driveway — for the course, the clubhouse, a neighbor's place — and much of that protection quietly stays behind. Most owners find out at the worst possible moment: after something happens.

Why we do it this way

Specialty coverage exists — good coverage, written by markets that understand carts. The problem is reach: most owners never see those markets, and most generalist agents don't work with them. We built Bogey Brothers around direct access to established broker connections in this niche, so the right market is one conversation away instead of a maze.

The name is playful on purpose. A bogey is the miss you shrug off and play through — and that's the point of good insurance: a bad moment shouldn't wreck the round. We take the coverage seriously so you don't have to take the mishap seriously.
